Hidden Tears

It's time to recognize, were back to reality
The cheer went down with the sun
and here we stand alone again
So whats this check that we call reality
when were both happy and sad
lonely and oh so mad
How do we cut through these smiles
what lies beneath it only gets worse
were battling for the best
Were cutting, hoping for the rest
While these tears flow under the skin
Another let down you cause
never missing a step
its a break of time
A smile a Frown
its all beneath the sound
of the sigh we sing
so we'll raise a glass
to the tears falling slowly
and pray that something might change
between the night passing
What happened to the heart thats true

Rainy Day

How do you forget? I guess the question really is, how do so many people just let go of the past? They refuse to dwell on it or let it bring their spirit down and they don't look back. While others look back on every detail of their past that they remember. Of course 9o percent of those memories that continue to hold you back are negative. One image can bring your entire mood to a shattering halt. Explaining this is anything but simple.

The things we did make us who we are now. Good or bad. So all we can really do is pray that the past wont predict what happens in the future. If you don't meet halfway, none of your relationships will last. You have to learn and respect what others expect.

*when you figure out love is all that matters after all it sure makes everything else seem so small. it's so easy to get lost inside a problem that seems so big at the time. it's like a river thats so wide it swallows you whole*

Take this thought

I'm watching this life flashing before my eyes
thinking about taking this car over the edge
maybe we would crash into that tree
maybe not
What would they think? What would they feel?
The phonecall you cant erase
I wonder if they thought to care
maybe not
And so they thought that this would be another time
just another time to say goodbye
maybe they were right
maybe not
That young girl with all that potential
Now shes dreaming like an angel
I wonder if thats what I would become
Maybe not
Would he forgive
I can never see the faces
Or hear the sirens holding on the hope
Would God hold this sin
What would I become
Another lost cause
another lost soul
maybe not

Its not what you know

Close your Eyes
What do you see
Far beneath the trees
is an open of life to thee
You have the option
to shut this out
What do you choose?

Someone once told me "It's not what you know, its how you execute it". It sounds simple in context but if you truly think about it, it means a lot more than whats apparent. Example, you can know everything there is to know about lighting, cameras, flashes and set ups, but if you cant lose your pride when you step behing the camera then you can accomplish nothing. Whether your photographing a train or a baby the principles are the same.
Its about connecting with your subject and searching for what is not seen. Its about looking past the surface and searching for the relation between you and your subject. Connect, Lose your pride and make a memory.

Meter

Fall
Keep falling
Release your weight
take no time to hesitate
Keep falling
Reach
Keep reaching
reach out to heights not seen by sights
keep reaching
Theres a love of a special kind
not known to human mind
that when we touch without time we take it slow
let there not be such
as a mediocre night together
In an embrace so binding
without shutters of light
too alone here for words
despite the evening we are dear
An autobiography of cosmic time
